Description :
  • Working closely with partners and senior staff to develop and implement effective strategies and tax planning assignments
  • Performing technical research, and developing and documenting tax plan recommendations
  • Preparing personal, corporate, and trust tax returns
  • Preparing tax elections, calculations, and planning letters
  • Corresponding with the CRA regarding tax filings, enquiries, and disputes
  • Providing assistance and support to clients on tax issues
  • Proactively follow up with clients and build positive working relationships
  • Effectively respond to requests or queries, and keep the team apprised of any potential issues
  • Participating in practice and professional development initiatives
Requirements :
  • CPA designation or successful completion of the CFE
  • Experience working in a tax services role in public practice accounting
  • Proficiency with MS Office and using tax preparation software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
