Working on business valuation engagements in support of business transactions, tax planning, corporate restructuring and disputes across a wide range of industries. This work will require financial statement analysis, industry research, risk quantification and preparation of written reports.
Participating as a team member on business sale mandates, including data gathering, financial analysis, due diligence, industry research, and communications with stakeholders.
Working on a wide range of other consulting projects, including financial modeling, due diligence and quality of earnings engagements.
Establishing, developing and maintaining client relationships and business development strategies.
Liaising with staff in other Baker Tilly Catalyst business units.
Requirements :
Corporate Finance experience in public practice or the private sector.
A CPA designation is preferred.
A CBV or CFA designation or be working towards achieving one.
Expertise in analyzing financial statements as well as a knowledge of income tax.
Demonstrated experience in conducting business valuations, including knowledge of valuation methodologies and financial analysis techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present complex valuation and finance concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines.
Ethical and professional conduct with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
An ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
The ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
Exceptional skills working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
