Description :
  • Develop websites, applications, and integrations on the AEM platform
  • Be a source of expertise for Adobe Experience Manager and related Adobe products
  • Manage and solve CMS platform issues with support teams and stakeholders
  • Assist in architecture design and implementation plans for AEM projects
  • Have knowledge and experience with automating builds using Maven, unit testing and continuous integration (CI)
  • Mentor junior team members, ensure software developed adheres to best practices and quality standards through code and design reviews
  • Develop, maintain, and write unit tests for OSGI Services, Sling Servlets, Sling Models, Workflows, and Event Listeners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend functionality
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Maintain high coding standards and adhere to established development methodologies to ensure consistency and quality
  • Proficiency in RESTful API development and implementation
  • Proficiency in Touch UI, Sightly, and HTML
  • Proficiency in AEM Editable Templates such as Page/Component policies and the AEM style system
  • Knowledge in utilizing UberJar to facilitate AEM backend functionality
  • Optimize AEM backend performance to enhance the overall user experience
  • Knowledge of AEM Core Components to enable effective website customization and design
  • Familiarity with the ACS Commons Library for expedient and efficient development processes
  • Strong unit testing in Java backend, and debugging abilities
Requirements :
  • 3+ years of development experience for Adobe Experience Manager 6.3 or newer
  • 5+ years experience in Java development or equivalent
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
  • Experience working with both Linux and Windows-based servers
  • An understanding of site performance and AEM digital development trends
  • Proficiency with Java, JSP, Servlets, HTML and JSON
  • Proficiency with AEM backend code such as OSGI Services, Sling Servlets, Sling Models, Workflows, and Event Listeners
  • Proficiency in unit testing in JAVA backend
  • Proficiency in working with code versioning tools such as Git/Mercurial/SVN
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as Backbone; Angular 2.0; React and CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS is preferred
  • Experience building responsive websites is preferred
  • Experience with system, integration, and performance testing is preferred
