Description :
  • Assist with compilation, bookkeeping and tax engagements
  • Prepare and maintain GST and PST filings, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable and payroll transactions 
  • Perform the month-end and quarter-end reporting
  • Maintain, monitor and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, and intercompany transactions
  • Identify issues and errors in client records and follow up with team to develop resolutions 
  • Communicate with the Canada Revenue Agency
  • Work collaboratively with the client engagement team 
Requirements :
  • Accounting certificate or bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is considered an asset)
  • Entry level to 2 years of relevant accounting experience 
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes is considered an asset
  • Experience working with accounting and tax software is considered an asset
