Description :

Assist with compilation, bookkeeping and tax engagements
Prepare and maintain GST and PST filings, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable and payroll transactions
Perform the month-end and quarter-end reporting
Maintain, monitor and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, and intercompany transactions
Identify issues and errors in client records and follow up with team to develop resolutions
Communicate with the Canada Revenue Agency
Work collaboratively with the client engagement team

Requirements :

Accounting certificate or bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is considered an asset)
Entry level to 2 years of relevant accounting experience
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes is considered an asset
Experience working with accounting and tax software is considered an asset
