Providing bookkeeping support to both clients and internal professional staff;
Accounting services assignments, including posting to general ledgers, reconciling accounts, printing and reviewing reports from accounting systems;
Efficient execution of compilation engagements which includes contacting clients directly for the purpose of answering questions, identifying requirements and anticipating and resolving problems;
Preparing corporate and personal tax returns; and
Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements :
Post-secondary education in accounting, finance or business or equivalent work experience;
Knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping and accounting practices;
Experience with QBO, Sage 50, QuickBooks desktop and Microsoft Office software;
Experience with bookkeeping applications such as Dext or Caseware would be a definite asset;
Excellent computer skills and a demonstrated ability to learn and utilize new computer programs;
Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask;
Flexibility according to the individual needs of our clients, including travel to client locations; and
