Coordinating tax planning engagements from initial client engagement to preparation of client planning letters and step letters to legal counsel; document tax compliance requirements stemming from planning engagements.
Providing tax support to the other Strategic Business Units, such as:
Client Advisory and Accounting – corporate tax review, supplemental tax research, and dissemination of tax developments.
Corporate Advisory - tax modelling and research.
Preparing complex corporate, personal and trust tax returns.
Developing positive relationships with clients and staff.
Receiving feedback in tax planning engagements encompassing technical skills, engagement management and client relationship management.
Working within engagement budgets and deadlines.
Actively participating in internal tax technical sessions and knowledge development.
Business development.
Requirements :
Have 2 - 3 years of experience in public practice or related field of accounting.
Have obtained their CPA designation.
Be enrolled or willing to enroll in and complete the In-depth tax program.
Have strong communication and analytical skills.
Think like a business owner and be willing to development business.
Be keen to work with private businesses and their owners.
