Description :
  • Performing accounting activities for our (non-profit) clients
  • Providing periodic financial (management) reports
  • Carrying out control activities for audits
  • Setting up accounts of new customers and suppliers in the online accounting environment
  • Processing and checking outgoing and incoming invoices and transactions
  • Taking care of invoicing, including follow-up when payment terms are exceeded
  • The archiving of financial documentation
  • Monitoring the planning of financial activities
  • Answering financial/administrative questions via telephone and e-mail
  • Providing general support to the CFO
  • Maintaining a good relationship with colleagues and customers, both in the Netherlands and America
Requirements :
  • You have a HBO working and thinking level (B towards Business Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy, SPD)
  • You have at least 2 years of accounting work experience, preferably in an international environment
  • You have experience with financial accounting/software programs (QuickBooks is an advantage)
  • You have extensive knowledge of Excel (required) and other Microsoft Office applications (pre)
  • You are proactive, ambitious and have the drive to succeed
  • You have an inquisitive attitude and like to stay informed of (new) developments in the field
  • You are accurate, numerically skilled and well structured
  • You have critical thinking skills and an eye for detail
  • You are able to keep an overview at all times, especially when it comes to the various customers for which you do the accounting on a daily basis
  • You are able to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues and clients
  • You are communicative, enthusiastic, service-oriented and always customer-friendly
  • You are social, representative and flexible in your work
  • You have an excellent command of both the Dutch and English language
