We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Basis Lead Consultant with a strong background in SAP S/4 HANA to manage and support the SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Basis administration, system architecture, and performance tuning, with a focus on delivering high availability and optimal performance in the pharmaceutical industry. SAP certification and experience in the pharma domain are advantageous. Key Responsibilities: SAP Basis Administration: Lead the administration and management of SAP S/4 HANA environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Perform system installations, configurations, and upgrades, including system landscape management and transport management. Monitor system performance, conduct regular health checks, and implement tuning measures to ensure efficient operation of SAP systems. System Implementation and Migration: Participate in full lifecycle SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, including system migrations from legacy systems to S/4 HANA. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define system requirements, prepare the system landscape, and support data migration activities. Oversee system refreshes, client copies, and transport management processes to ensure smooth system operations. Security and Compliance: Implement and manage user roles, profiles, and authorizations in compliance with regulatory requirements, including GxP and FDA standards. Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with data protection policies and best practices. Manage SAP Solution Manager for monitoring, administration, and support of the SAP landscape. Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting: Analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify and resolve system issues and bottlenecks. Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex system errors, ensuring minimal impact on business operations. Implement best practices for backup, recovery, and high availability solutions for SAP systems. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and training. Provide regular status reports to management on system performance, incidents, and ongoing projects. User Training and Support: Conduct training sessions for technical teams and end users on SAP Basis administration and best practices. Provide on call support and guidance during critical business operations and system maintenance activities.
Minimum 10 to 12 years in SAP Basis with at least 1 year of hands on experience in SAP S/4 HANA implementation Industry: Pharma (Preferred)
