Manage and maintain computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components, including operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Conduct regular system backups and recovery operations in the event of data loss.
Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems from unauthorized access, viruses, and other security threats.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, including resolving hardware and software issues, answering technical questions, and providing training as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation of all hardware, software, and system configurations. Collaborate with other IT team members and vendors to ensure system compatibility and scalability.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as installing software updates and patches, and conducting system audits.
Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems
Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
Create and verify backups of data
Respond to and resolve help desk requests
Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
Review application logs
Install and test computer-related equipment
Extensive experience with VMware
Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
Basic understanding of insurance goals and practices
Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis
