- Expected to use those trusted relationships to gain an in-depth understanding of our customer's technical and commercial objectives, their organization structure, key influencers, and how they make decisions.
- Boldly advocate on behalf of our customers to influence Intel Business Units to co-develop value-added technical and commercial proposals, guide customer evaluations and weighting of tradeoffs, and ultimately convince customers of the value of partnering with and using Intel's products and technologies.
- Most often work as a team, paired with an Account Executive, AE, who manages the commercial and business side of the customer relationship while you focus on the technology and product conversations.
- In some instances, you may have to play a combination of Technical and AE roles, so you are also expected to be comfortable to assist consumption sales AEs and BU biz dev in pricing and other commercial discussions, potentially including the negotiation of contracts and associated terms. While this is secondary to your technical sales role, your in-vehicle expertise makes you an essential resource to complement the broad business skills of existing AEs.

- Understand competitor's strengths and weaknesses relative to the appropriate technical strategy

- Technical competencies toward becoming well-versed in the Electrical and Electronic architecture of in-vehicle solutions plus related support of the ideation or definition, development, manufacture, and post-production phases of our customers' products and the experiences they deliver to market.
- Knowledge pertaining to vehicle compute and networking architectures, Automotive component qualification standards, embedded OS and SW foundations, and Functional Safety, FuSa. ADAS and Autonomous advanced sensing technologies, AI incl. deep machine learning principals are desired but can be gained in time.
- Ability to help triage quality, design, or manufacturing issues that may arise, being recognized as a customer advocate in driving the coordination of Intel resources to determine root cause and ensuring timely corrective actions.

- You will have the opportunity to collaborate with Intel's experienced in-vehicle sales team globally, which is comprised of several individuals with 10-30+ years of experience in Sales, the Automotive Segment, and Autonomous Technologies. You are expected to tap into this network of colleagues to help you quickly gain experience and insights into Intel's automotive heritage, and potential support in navigating account engagement challenges. A successful candidate will demonstrate:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science 10+ years' experience working in the development and or technical sales support roles for high-performance processor-based system solutions.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science 5+ years of career experience in engineering or technical sales within the automotive industry
