Description :
â— Collect and document users requirements and develop logical and physical specifications
â— Research, evaluate and synthesize technical information to design, develop and test computer-based systems
â— Develop data, process and network models to optimize architecture and to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs
â— Plan, design and co-ordinate the development, installation, integration and operation of computer-based systems
â— Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures for operating systems, communications environments and applications software
â— Lead and co-ordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software and other embedded software control systems
â— Carry out administrative activities of establishment
â— Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
â— Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
â— Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures
â— Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
â— Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
â— Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
â— Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
