The City of Irvine seeks a seasoned individual to serve as an Equipment Operator I. Under the direction of the Street Maintenance Supervisor and Lead Street Maintenance Technician, the Equipment Operator I operates a variety of street maintenance vehicles and equipment. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for street sweeping activities on the City's residential streets.

• High school diploma with vocational/technical training in equipment operation.
• Two years street maintenance/construction experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Possess, or ability to obtain, an appropriate valid California driver's license.
