Responsible for analyzing, developing new requirements and troubleshooting issues in PeopleSoft Financials and HR applications
Develops new reports in XML Publisher, SQR, PeopleSoft Query
Develops and automates PeopleSoft interfaces with third party systems
Monitors and troubleshoots nightly batch processes
Troubleshoot complex technical problems while supporting day-to-day operations
Applies analytical and advanced design techniques in developing new programs or systems or modifying existing ones
Develops systems processes to eliminate redundant and manual business processes as necessary
Codes and/or tests programs and resolve related problems in large, complex systems.
Provides technical guidance to lower-level IT personnel and contractors through training, mentoring, and coaching.
Maintain professional working relationships with a variety of City staff at all levels.
Communicate effectively orally and in written format in a variety of situations and formats.
Performs other or related duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Five years professional experience in information technology
3 + years of experience in PeopleSoft Applications development in Financials and/or HCM modules
3 + years of experience in business analysis and application testing
3 + years of experience working with PeopleTools such as PeopleCode, Application Engine programs, Packages, component interfaces, Integration Broker and SQL, SQR, Shell scripting, Approval Workflow Engine
3 + years of experience in Reporting tools like Crystal Reports, PSQuery, nVision and XML/BI Publisher
