Provide assistance and leadership to staff accountants regarding Court accounting processes
Audit reconciliations, journal entries, adjustments, and receipt coding
Review credit card transactions for disputed charges
Troubleshoot and resolve cash balance, reporting, and internet payment receipting issues
Assist with the Court’s yearly budget proposal
Verify deposits and disbursements from Court bank accounts
Create payment requests to transfer funds from the General Fund to the Court accounts
Answer questions from other Divisions regarding accounting issues and concerns
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements :
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Experience: Three (3) years of professional level accounting experience reconciling accounting discrepancies, analyzing expenditures, and preparing financial reports.
Education/Experience Equivalency: No substitution of experience for education is permitted.
