This position works under the direct supervision of the State Park Peace Officer Supervisor (Ranger) and will assist with carrying out all phases of the Visitor Services & Public Safety functions at Auburn SRA. Duties include park patrol and campground/day use management, first aid; interpretation; law enforcement and resource management. The incumbent may act as lead over seasonal staff, camp hosts and various volunteer groups for visitor services. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high public-use recreation area.
