Description : â— Overseeing, coaching, and supporting center front desk and the guest services team
â— Addressing and documenting staff development issues and reporting them to the Recreation Supervisor
â— Participating in community outreach events and serving as center ambassador to the community
â— Conducting operational duties including opening and closing of the facility, submitting and recording maintenance work orders, addressing escalated guest concerns, cash handling and bank deposits, and general facility auditing
â— Ensuring a safe and enjoyable center experience for all guests and team members
â— Participating in the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of center staff
â— Collaborating with Recreation Program Coordinators to develop and implement new and innovative programs for the community
â— Coaching, facilitating, and coordinating cyclical seasonal programming
â— Assisting the Supervisor with various administrative tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements : â— Education: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate
â— Experience: Five (5) years of experience working in recreation, education or a closely related field
â— Licensures/Certification(s): Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application. Requires certification in CPR/First Aid within 6 months of probation. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment
