Description : â— The Probation Department is recruiting for Probation Cooks I who participate in and oversee the preparation of meals at a Probation Department institutional facility. These positions are responsible for the supervision and training of food service staff; determining quantities of food to prepare; preparing, cooking, and seasoning of food; serving and supervising the serving of food; and maintaining security through constant control of kitchen tools and equipment.
Requirements : â— One (1) year of ( full-time equivalent ) experience as a banquet cook, military cook, school cook, hospital cook, or other institutional cook performing large quantity cooking, preparing single recipes in batches to serve 1 00 persons or more at a time.
