Required Education (from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.):
An earned doctorate (Ph.D., DSc, EdD) in Physical Therapy or a closely related discipline.
Required Experience:
Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds;
A minimum of three years of clinical experience in physical therapy practice
Evidence of success in teaching expertise in at least two of the areas: biomechanics, movement science/functional kinesiology prosthetics and orthotics, and clinical experience to assume a role as a clinical instructor for doctoral students in one or both of the on-campus clinics performing foundational evaluation and treatment
Demonstrate ability to utilize technology to enhance instruction and student learning for example, online and hybrid environments, tablet-enhanced instruction, and flipped classroom methodologies
Evidence of success in research with an established line that is reflective of teaching expertise
Must be licensed in California or must be licensed in California by 8/17/2023 to supervise students in campus clinics
