Coordinates the implementation of marketing strategies with other staff to meet marketing objectives.
Plans and implements media and public relations and promotional programs to increase attendance at and awareness of departmental sponsored facilities and events.
Develops advertising, marketing, and promotional kits for special events and trade shows.
Assist with implementation of an integrated communication plan.
Design, layout and development of brochures, flyers, publications and other promotional pieces.
Coordinates with communications staff to distribute marketing materials and content across a variety of digital platforms in accordance with current best practices of digital communications.
Write, edit and proof articles for departmental newsletters and other communications as requested.
Assists in the development and maintenance of departmental web pages.
Organize and maintain video and photographic library, taking photographs in the field and/or making arrangements with others with the required expertise.
Provides organizational and logistical support for trade shows conferences, special receptions, open houses or similar promotional events.
Consults with and assists department staff or contractors who manage related marketing programs including advertising, media contacts or other interviews, web page, television spots, and promotional materials in support of stated marketing objectives.
Performs related work as required.
Requirements :

Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license or evidence of equivalent mobility.
