Develops and maintains the cloud standards, solutions, and architecture in conjunction with the IT Leadership team's cloud strategy.
Collaborates with development, engineering, security, and networking teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
Builds, designs, deploys, maintains, and lead the implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple cloud offerings and departments.
Creates, manages, monitors and decommissions cloud infrastructure, systems, resources, networks, and other cloud services to support City of Scottsdale infrastructure.
Troubleshoots incidents, identifies root cause, and implements preventative measures.
Identifies, analyzes, and resolves infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
Manages requests for new technology, establishing a secure cloud environment, and ensuring appropriate availability and reliability of cloud services.
Provides on-going support for specific cloud-based enterprise infrastructure systems and applications.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution.
Seven years' experience in enterprise systems or security engineering.
An equivalent combination of education and job-related experience may substitute for the educational requirements on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred:
Degree in Computer Science
Experience in both public and private cloud environments
Relevant technical certifications
Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements
Obtain and maintain Level D Terminal Operator Certification (TOC-D) within 1 month of hire.
