Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Resources Engineering
Knowledge of and/or experience with the City's Land Development Code ( LDC ), Austin Water's Utilities Criteria Manual ( UCM ), TCEQ utility design criteria, Uniform Plumbing Code, International Fire Code, and other codes and design criteria related to land development and water, wastewater, and reclaimed water infrastructure.
Knowledge of and/or experience performing utility demand/flow calculations and infrastructure capacity analysis
Knowledge of and/or experience with utility system design
Experience with Project Management for design, bidding and construction of utility projects, including experience with cost estimates, budgets, schedules, construction operations, change orders, pay applications, administering contract terms, etc.
Experience using geographic information systems ( GIS ) mapping software, such as ArcGIS, ArcPro or similar software
