The position is located within NDOT’s Information Technology Division in Carson City.This position will be responsible for managing NDOT's ArcGIS Enterprise Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, and python scripting. Excellent customer service, documentation, and troubleshooting skills are required to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel. Duties include publishing map services, upgrading/maintaining/patching existing ArcGIS infrastructure, training users, and technical support. The candidate should be capable of working in a fast-paced collaborative team environment. Must obtain AZ-900 within six months

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in geographic information systems, geography, cartography, computer information systems, or a closely related field; OR an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in geographic information systems, geography, cartography, computer science, computer information systems, or closely related field and one year of paraprofessional GIS experience which included GIS/GPS data collection, analysis and/or validation; GIS software application development; and/or cartographic design; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and two years of experience as described above; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
