This position is responsible for the support of specialized electronic arts teaching, production laboratories, and multimedia facilities in the Department of Art's Undergraduate and Graduate, Multimedia programs. The creative disciplines of electronic art and multimedia require work with specialized computing hardware and software in order to teach, research, develop, and execute expressive media works. The Electronic Arts and Multimedia Technician is charged with providing support to both students and faculty engaging in the production of expressive works. This position ensures the entire workflow of media production runs smoothly in the classroom, electronic art studio use, network computing, and hardware and software requisitions.
