Developing, implementing, evaluating and maintaining training programs for new employees in each inspector classification.
Developing, implementing, evaluating and maintaining training programs for existing staff members to assist in obtaining professional certifications in building, plumbing, mechanical, energy and electrical inspections.
Conducting formal training for newly hired and existing inspectors.
Hands-on inspection training in the field with inspectors covering aspects of all trades- building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and energy.
Ongoing evaluation of trainees
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, public administration, engineering, industrial technology or a related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
Two years increasingly responsible experience in developing and conducting training programs for educational and/or safety related topics.
