Manages the Golf Course maintenance program and improvement projects.
Reports golf course conditions to the Golf Course Superintendent.
Opens the maintenance shop and runs operations in the absence of the Golf Course Superintendent.
Performs all tasks associated with the general maintenance of the Golf Course.
Schedules irrigation application; supervises and participates in the operation and maintenance of pumps and in the maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems.
Requirements :
High school diploma or valid equivalent; and
Three (3) years previous experience in a skilled position in the golf course maintenance operations and
Must possess (or obtain within fourteen (14) days of hire) and maintain a valid Florida Driver's license.
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Florida Pesticide Applicator's license within ninety (90) days of employment.
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a State of Florida Green Industries-BMP certificate within ninety (90) days of employment.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays and be able to respond to emergency situations at the Golf Course arising after normal scheduled hours.
