Description :
A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible building and facilities construction, architecture, urban planning, or project management experience, preferably in the public-sector; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Experience working for a variety of public-sector organizations and a broad level of experience and background in all aspects of building development.
Experience with analyzing and formulating public policy in the development-related realm.
Over 10 years of construction project management experience
Degree in construction management or administration, architecture, engineering, urban planning, public administration, or clos ely related field.
Advanced Degree or Training
Requirements :
Ability to utilize principles, practices, methods, materials and techniques involved in the design, construction, renovation, and maintenance of buildings and facilities common to a large municipality.
Experience with the principles and practices of budgeting, public procurement, and maintenance of public records.
Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, regulations and codes applicable to building construction.
Experience managing change in the workplace and formulating policy to implement changed conditions.
