In this position, you will be responsible for the safety and security of everyone on library property, including staff, collections, and customers. You will create a welcoming environment for the whole community in alignment with our library use policy. Daily duties include patrolling the entire building/parking lot throughout the day, opening the building and securing the building at closing, writing daily activity logs, and other duties as assigned. You will also work with the whole team creating positive experiences for library customers by greeting and building relationships with customers across all ages and backgrounds. You will foster relationships while equitably serving a diverse community seeking information, resources, and experiences.

• One year of experience working with security or loss prevention preferred
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
