The successful candidates will be expected to: 1) maintain an active, externally-funded research program involving undergraduate and master's students, 2) be committed to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population, and 3) devote a portion of his/her time to engaging in departmental, college and university service. Of particular interest to us are candidates whose research complements the department's existing biochemistry and chemistry research programs and/or will further expand research opportunities at the interface of chemistry and biology. Interdisciplinary collaborations within the department and college are strongly encouraged.
