Description : Assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of accountants engaged in the management of financial accounts.
Supervises the auditing and reconciliation of various payment methods for multiple funds
Review and approve journal vouchers and Electronic Records of Deposits prepared by staff
Prepare financial reports for month-end/year-end reporting and manage internal/external audits
Reconcile the sub-ledger and verify balances to the General Ledger
Reviews forecast of anticipated expenses and revenues, ensuring projections are based on valid trends
Requirements : Bachelors degree from an accredit college or university with major course work in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field
Four (4) years of increasingly responsible accounting experience, including one year of administrative or lead supervisory responsibility, with experience in governmental fund accounting.
