Description : â— This position requires extensive and in-depth reading and interpretation of multiple Medicaid Service Manuals, State Plan, contracts, and state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines. This position requires a working knowledge of complex computer information and financial systems to mine financial data and information. This position requires high proficiency in reports written accurately and clearly describing audit methods, findings, conclusions, and recommendations in sufficient detail to convey compliance and performance findings and recommendations to Medicaid providers and contractors and other Division personnel.
Requirements : â— Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, which included 6 college credits in beginning accounting and/or auditing, and one year of professional level auditing or accounting experience involving analyzing financial information and making recommendations based upon that analysis; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education, supplemented by 6 college credits in beginning accounting and/or auditing and three years of professional experience as described above; OR one year of experience as an Auditor I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above, which must have included 6 college credits in beginning accounting and/or auditing.
