This position is responsible for accounting duties to assigned budget accounts and Federal/State funding, including managing expenditures, revenues, and reporting. Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, accounting functions of assigned budget accounts; monitoring Federal and State funding; and managing expenditures, revenues, and completing the required reporting. Supervising and coordinating the workload of two direct reports within the Unit, the incumbent helps to ensure that necessary on-going fiscal functions of the Department are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner. 

The ideal candidate will have experience with monitoring grant-funded expenditures. Also, the incumbent will be required to work with Microsoft Excel, including data entry, data analysis, performing calculations using data on multiple worksheets, using data functions and filters, and using pivot tables, so they should be highly proficient in the program.
