The Acquisitions and Contracts Analyst is responsible for developing and analyzing various purchase documents and contracts for all departments throughout the facility. This position requires a level of analytical skills in order to assist and develop bid proposals and effectively articulate the rules, regulations and laws as it relates to the type of contract needed for the hospital. This position will comprise of project work which consist of creating advertisements, thorough research and understanding of various services, license requirements, and terms and conditions of the State. The SSA/AGPA must be able to independently research and interpret data, and provide immediate, legal solutions to meet the hospital needs. Strong analytical and technical ability is required. Excellent written and oral communication and computer skills are required. The SSA/AGPA must also possess strong interpersonal skills, display initiative, and be able to handle stressful situations with professionalism. Experience in State contracts is preferred.
