Accounting Administrator I Supervisor (AA1) will provide oversight and technical assistance over the General Ledger and Accounts Receivable units. Oversee the daily deposit of checks and remittances to State Controllers' Office (SCO) including collection of LPS Reimbursement and other miscellaneous reimbursements in relations to their expenditure and budgeted authority. Serves as a liaison and provides support to Budget, Program staff, and the Accounting Officers at five State Hospitals across California. Oversee the monthly reconciliation of the General Fund, Special Funds, Bank Reconciliation, and ORF Reconciliation. Provide analysis and research to help resolve reconciliation items and work with staff, Hospitals, and control agencies to resolve on a timely manner. Be able to implement new accounting processes and FI$Cal enhancement and represent Sacramento DSH as a subject matter expert. Continuously improve accounting policy and procedures and provide training to staff. Plan and develop staff for succession planning. AA1 will be involved with special projects with other accounting supervisors and managers. Work and collaborate across DSH agency as a team.
