Processes consultant contracting and purchasing invoices and transactions.
Develops procurement policy process documentation, workflows, and training materials.
Assists in the continued development of the Contracts and Procurement SharePoint site.
Works with staff to troubleshoot system and process issues and escalates as needed.
Communicates with and trains office and field staff on a variety of procurement topics.
Assists, develops and executes the less complex contracts and purchasing requests.
Assists in supporting the new Citywide Contract Management System (CCMS) for training, reporting, contract entry, issue resolution, and process improvements.
Assists in generating procurement reports, workplans and metrics, on a regular and ad-hoc basis using Excel, Access Tableau, Power BI, or other analytical software
Supports the City’s Women and Minority Owned Business Enterprise (WMBE) program and federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program.
Supports department goals in promoting diversity and social justice in keeping with the City’s Race and Social Justice Initiative.
Requirements :
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business or public administration, finance, computer science, or related field.
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience with contracting informational systems, operations, procedures, research or analysis.
OR: An equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the position duties.
