The Senior Accounting Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of routine to complex support duties in the preparation, maintenance, and processing of accounting records and transactions. Areas of assignment include accounts payable, accounts receivable, utility billing, and business licensing; posting; and balancing, adjusting, and maintaining manual and computerized accounting and financial records according to established policies and procedures. Assists customers, departments, and employees by researching issues and problems and providing information and answers to questions related to financial/accounting transactions.
