Implementing a long-term vision and strategy for RSJI’s racial justice training and education work
Facilitating RSJI trainings with a focus on virtual and hybrid settings, and some in person
Revising training curriculums to incorporate more intersectional analysis, exploring different forms of oppression using a racial justice lens
Using the Cornerstone learning management platform to coordinate RSJI’s training schedule
Providing support and curriculum development for the RSJI Learning Community Cohort
Coordinating and facilitating customized trainings with departments and groups within the City as needed
Maintaining training records, managing training requests and creating training evaluations
Working with the RSJI Strategy Team to develop trainings and curriculums from the ground up
Co-facilitating Train the-Trainer sessions that teach City staff and community partners how to engage others in learning about race and how to apply racial equity tools
Working with other City departments, affinity groups, and individuals to align their racial equity education with RSJI’s anti-racist values
Collaborating with internal partners across City departments to build capacity for citywide training
Participating in weekly RSJI Strategy Team meetings
Participating in racial justice organizing and strategic planning with the RSJI Strategy Team
Requirements :
Three (3) years of experience designing and implementing adult training or education courses, project management training, and/or in programs that involved conducting training needs assessments, developing, and coordinating training courses, and administering training consultant contracts AND a Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Public Administration, Training/Development, or related field.
OR
Four (4) years of experience designing and implementing adult training or education courses, project management training, and/or in programs that involved conducting training needs assessments, developing, and coordinating training courses, and administering training consultant contracts AND an Associate degree in Education, Psychology, Public Administration, Training/Development, or related field, or comparable working history in the mentioned fields.
OR
Five (5) of experience designing and implementing adult training or education courses, project management training, and/or in programs that involved conducting training needs assessments, developing, and coordinating training courses, and administering training consultant contracts.
