• Doctoral degree in the biological sciences or a related field.
• Scholarship, professional engagement, and expertise in (Position 1) physiology, ecophysiology, pathology, or closely related field; or (Position 2) cellular biology, molecular biology, genetics, or microbial biology.
• Commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching of a diverse student population, including first-generation college students.
• Ability and willingness to promote student success through mentorship, advising, research, service, and other high impact practices.
