Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I), the Information Technology Supervisor II is the supervisor for the testing unit and provides expert-level support in the areas of business analysis, system analysis, problem resolution, reports and forms development, and quality assurance on Information Technology (IT) projects. The incumbent combines analysis of business needs with project management tasks, which include in-depth analysis, evaluation, initiation, planning, controlling, implementation, testing, and deployment activities. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the Hawkins Data Center development standards are followed for both project manager and/or business analyst roles. Additionally, the incumbent will lead and perform oversight responsibilities when consulting resources are included on project teams. Functions as the expert in the testing and implementation of software applications to meet the organization’s current and evolving business needs. Performs effectively in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities and is responsible for analyzing business and technical requirements, considering current and future enterprise projects to translate the requirements into test case scenarios. Accurately performs test activities, and tracks issues/defects; providing quality assurance activities related to system test script development while working closely with other IT Partners throughout the department to troubleshoot defects and implement quality system changes. Develops decision-making documents to address complex and critical issues and conducts independent research and analysis to recommend cost-effective solutions and process improvements. May act in a technical or workload lead role.
