Operate Nversion Denver 8 TV and Castus Denver Community Media multipleâ€channel, automated master control systems, including the digital program asset management database
Regularly you will access videos in various formats, ingest, download, trim, transcode, encode, upload and or place them into folders
Assist Creative Services Creative Production management team in the scheduling of crews in support of the city’s live legislative and other public meeting coverage, Red Rocks concerts, and other video shoots
Monitor the day-to-day meeting schedules and access crew availability and positions with an eye on forward scheduling daily, weekly, monthly, and beyond
Preview and prepare approved media for air, including promotional and interstitial material; organize and prepare programming and promotional media for MS video channels
Prepare regular daily, weekly, and monthly accurate cablecast schedules that support agency television programming initiatives and determine and adjust programming as assigned
Monthly compilation of the program guides, onâ€screen promotional graphics and formats, and programming operational reports
Research programming sources and works with MS management to acquire and air programs that serve the city’s information distribution goals
Use and become proficient in several administrative systems such as Media Pulse, ActiveNet, and Smartsheet
Perform other general administrative and operational support as needed
Requirements :
Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Experience Requirement: Two (2) years of technical experience working with broadcast video equipment, including cameras, graphics, and audio.
Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
Licensure & Certification: Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application.
