The primary responsibilities of faculty members are to teach (four courses per semester with opportunities for release for the first two years), maintain an active research program, advise students, mentor graduate student thesis projects, and serve on department, college and university committees. The appointment will be effective for the 2023/2024 academic year and will begin in August 2023 (with a reduced teaching load).
 

• Applicants must have experience in teaching and working with colleagues from diverse age, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.
• Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology/Counseling Psychology or related field by start of appointment.
• Research experience (e.g., peer reviewed publications and/or externally funded grants) and experience mentoring graduate and/or undergraduate students.
• Demonstrated ability to teach or prepared to teach courses listed in the "Position" section.
• Licensed or license-eligible psychologist to support graduate students seeking to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
