The duties of this position center are user computer support. Duties include working with tools to manage software and hardware centrally, as well as the installation, diagnosis, servicing, and repairing computer and peripheral hardware and software. The incumbent will also perform upgrades, modifications, and hardware/software relocations. User support is performed both in person and through remote assistance. The incumbent will also assist with virtualized hardware and software through VMware and other virtual tools throughout the agency. This position may require travel within the State of Nevada to any of DETR's sites.
