Description :
  1. Design digital and print materials of varying complexity in support of the city's programs and initiatives
  2. Effectively manage acquisition and organization of digital assets library (i.e. stock art, typefaces)
  3. Assign and manage work executed by external graphic designers when needed
  4. Maintain and enforce professional design standards and brand consistency across all departments
  5. Demonstrate flexibility in changing priorities of design needs and real-time development of materials when required
  6. Manage print material process including relationships with city administrative support staff, mail/print houses, and USPS to ensure product delivery
Requirements :
  • Expert knowledge of desktop publishing/creative design software, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
  • Proficiency with performing complex digital color correction and photo manipulation
  • Professional experience in booklet design (i.e. documents exceeding 40 pages in length)
  • Four years of professional graphic design experience in a high-production environment
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in graphic design from an accredited college or university
