Assists in developing and monitoring the annual budget for the assigned section. In the budget preparation, provides detail for statistical historical data and recommends labor and materials requirements. May be assigned to track and report monthly the actual units of work expended and performance indicators.
Orders or delegates ordering, materials, supplies, and equipment for the assigned maintenance section, including vendor review, selection, and price negotiation. Uses experience and knowledge of available products and sources to assure cost effective purchases. Maintains and completes required records and forms, such as maintenance logs, material requests, and work orders.
