Description :
Highly proficient in the use of PC software applications including MS Office, MS ACCESS and MS EXCEL
Experience as Data Architect, including any of the following:
Experience with Data Warehousing, Automation with ETL/SSIS, schema design and dimensional data modeling
Proficient with MS SQL Server, T-SQL, Agile, SCRUM, SSRS -Data Architect/Engineer and Strategist
VBA coding within the Microsoft platform would be a plus Knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
Knowledge of automated accounting systems particularly cloud-based ERP, such as Oracle ERP, and Ceridian Day Force and WFM
Ability to work independently with minimal direction while keeping others informed of project status and key concerns.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with City departments, the Board of Education, SWPCA and external customers.
Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a demanding work environment with multiple priorities
Basic knowledge of municipal accounting and the principles promulgated by the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB), as applicable, as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Requirements :
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business or a related field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of financial, operational or procedural analyses OR a Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of financial, operational or procedural analyses in a governmental setting.
