Description : Thorough knowledge of the laws, rules and regulation pertaining to municipal finance and the municipal budget process.
Through knowledge of municipal financial administration, including accounting, budgeting, purchasing and investing.
Ability to prepare and analyze budgetary data.
General knowledge of financial structure of municipalities from an operational perspective.
Knowledge of departmental administration procedures, including planning, coordinating and program evaluation.

Requirements : Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance or closely related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible financial management experience in budgeting and planning, five of which should be in municipal finance in a supervisory capacity. A Master’s Degree in accounting, finance, business or public administration or other closely related field may be substituted for two (2) years of experience in financial management or, any combination of education and experience that is substantially equivalen
