Description : Serves as chief administrative officer coordinating administrative services of the County; supports and implements policies and procedures of Centre County Commissioners.
Provides managerial direction to department heads.
Directs, coordinates, and oversees activities for formulation, monitoring, and presentation of the County budget.
Directs strategic planning to ensure the ongoing viability of County administration, programs, and services.
Reviews, prepares, and/or directs preparation of reports and recommendations outlining changes to programs, policies, and practices affecting budget, personnel, risk management, services, labor relations, and physical facilities.
Directs communication activities to ensure effective public relations; serves as the Countys Right to Know Officer; acts as public relations spokesperson for Centre County Government and Public Information Officer for Centre County’s Emergency Management Agency.
Approves contractual agreements on behalf of Board of Commissioners within the limitations set by the Board.
Performs all duties of the Chief Clerk as recognized by the Pennsylvania County Code.
