Description : â— Operates and drives sludge hauling vehicles in a variety of weather and road conditions and in heavy traffic areas; responds to emergency spills and fluid overflows.
â— Operates equipment associated with loading and unloading trucks, including vacuum pumps, transfer pumps, hosing, and valving.
Performs daily pre-trip inspection; performs light maintenance such as filling fluids and oils, changing bulbs, checking lights, hoses, belts, fluid levels and tires; provides timely and accurate conditions and work progress to supervisors and other staff.
â— Compiles and maintains data and information in log books and systems.
â— Performs cleaning of vehicles and shop area; coordinates with supervisor for proper vehicle maintenance to be performed; assists treatment staff with routine plant operations tasks.
Requirements : â— A high school diploma or equivalent andtwo years of experience driving large trucks is required
