Description : â— *Picks up and delivers a variety of material including mail, heavy boxes, medical supplies, mail, equipment, records to and from various clinics, physicians offices, hospitals, County Departments, post offices, delivers interdepartmental mail and material to various locations.
*Loads heavy boxes and supplies into delivery van. Delivers material to and from satellite clinics and Public Health.
*Sorts interoffice mail and delivers to County mailroom. Hand carries mail to County Administrative Offices. Picks up and delivers mail from the mailroom and County departments to Health Services Agency destinations.
*Provides lead direction to staff who may assist in delivery of mail, supplies, equipment and other material.
Requirements : â— Traffic rules and regulations; safe methods of lifting heavy objects safe work practices related to performance of manual tasks and operation of a motor vehicle.
