These positions are responsible for the supervision and training of food service staff; determining quantities of food to prepare; preparing, cooking, and seasoning of food; serving and supervising the serving of food; and maintaining security through constant control of kitchen tools and equipment.

• Option 1: Three (3) months of paid cook or food service experience.
• Option 2: Considerable experience cooking food for a large number of persons in batches (e.g. hospital, school, jail, military, banquet, etc.)
• Option 3: A community college Certificate in Culinary Arts.
