Computer Support Specialist I : Associate degree or equivalent (60 college credit hours) required and two years work experience with computer or communications systems or networks required; or an equivalent combination of related training and experience. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot simple desktop computing problems and provide communicate effective instructions over the phone required. Specialized training in computer applications and utilities used within the City of Orlando is preferred. Valid Florida drivers license required.
Finalists may be required to test for Keyboarding, Writing/Grammar skills, and other computer programs.
Computer Support Specialist II : Same as Computer Support Specialist I, above, except requires four years experience as specified.
